The best way to explore a culture is by celebrating it and that is exactly what we’ll be doing! Together the Summer University will speedrun all the cultural Dutch festivities by experiencing a different one EVERY.SINGLE.DAY 🤯 What are the secrets of Sinterklaas? 🤫What is the cold truth behind Dutch new year’s day? 🥶 How wild can Kingsday really be? 🫅

Optional programme: Seals watching in Lauwersoog, BBQ and cantus.
Theme: Dutch Holidays. We aim to give our SU participants a taste of the variety of typical Dutch festivities (Sinterklaas, Kingsday and so much more!). Every day has another holiday as a theme and the participants will also experience the yearly festival in Nijmegen called the Vierdaagsefeesten (Four Days Marches, a walking event with an accompanying city-wide festival). Accomodation: hosting, group accommodation, scouting. This event is for 20 participants.
