Welcome to Al-Ándalus 2020: Conquer the South of Spain with AEGEE-Málaga!
Ready for the conquest? We need to teach you a few things before the application. Al-Ándalus 2020 is divided into three phases: Pre-event, Event and Post-event. Each stage takes place in a different location across Andalucía:
- The pre-event (14-16th August) will take place in Sevilla, a province widely known for its outstanding buildings and its incredible cuisine. Participants will have the pleasure of visiting the historic Plaza de España, the Tower of Gold or the Giralda and enjoying a full day in Isla Mágica Amusement Park (Sevilla: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQJg-vEp5vg | Isla Mágica: http://cdn.descontos.pt/imgOfertas/deals/original/D39439i11.jpg).
- The event (17-21th August) begins in the city of Granada, a city that combines contact with nature and the mountain landscape with cultural and historic activities such as a visit to the Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre. There we will be staying at a private house only for us, and we will do a lot of cool activities! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KNKvbFz0yg) Then, after Granada, we will end up in Málaga, where both the city centre and the historic Castillo de Gibralfaro will be visited, whereas at the same time we'll be having a beach day in the city! - The post-event (21-23rd August) will be held in the interior of the province of Malaga, in the area of El Chorro, a magnificent natural area in which we will be able to connect with Nature. Indeed, participants will enjoy active tourism activities such as kayaking or the tour of El Caminito del Rey (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBmQDxG0Gkk).
Fee includes accommodation, at least two meals a day, Alhambra tickets and activities during the whole event. Pre-Event and Post-Event fees can be consulted in aegeemalaga.org/al-andalus. Applying to the event there is mandatory for being selected!
Finally, from AEGEE-Málaga we express our commitment that all the health and safety measures for the prevention of COVID-19 will be fulfilled, providing the participants with masks and disinfectant gel.
IMPORTANT! In case of cancellation of the event, those who have bought flight tickets are invited and will be received in the best possible way by the organizer's team.
