Novruz, meaning "New Day," is one of Azerbaijan's key cultural events, encapsulating the nation's history, identity, and vibrant traditions🌞. Our project aims to seize this fantastic opportunity to share the beauty of Azerbaijani culture with European youth, unveiling the richness of our traditions, historical monuments, and the fascinating tapestry of our heritage. Therefore, we are delighted to extend a warm invitation to the International Novruz Festival in Azerbaijan, which will take place on March 19-25, to celebrate the arrival of spring🌱. Hosted by AEGEE-Bakı, this festival promises a vibrant blend of traditional Azerbaijani customs, music, and dance that will transport you into the heart of Azerbaijan's festive spirit🫖.
Program includes participation in Novruz celebrations, authentic Novruz competitions and games, a quest in the Old City, an introduction to Azerbaijani culture and history followed by the quiz with presents, excursions to Novruz fairs, museum visits, art, dance workshops, and even horse riding🐎! On top of that, we will visit one of the most genuine regions to spend the Novruz holidays in - Sheki, and you also need to expect one surprise destination from us that we bet you will love❤️!
