We are back with the third volume of AEGEE the DUTCH way, and the third time’s the charm!!🍀3️⃣ So if by now you still have not yet heard of the Dutch student, this is your chance🕵. An eccentric animal…🐅🌴, a species of their own.…. 🔍THERE!!!! We’ve spotted one!🔍 Over there, look at all the weird activities it is doing. A life of its own, oh so different from your standard boring Dutchman 😴. Associations, traditions, parties, games, you name it!!! During this NYE, you will discover not one, but TWO cultures! Our national, AND our student culture. 😮😮 The Netherlands is known for its unique culture, but student customs are another story. We will share some mind-blowing customs that will demonstrate a whole new level of Dutch ‘gezelligheid’ 😵. These include themed nights, drinking games, our famous singing party (cantus!) and much more 🍻🍻🍻. Besides that, our national culture has many cool (New Year's) traditions worth discovering. You will get to make our famous New Year's food, do the traditional New Year's dive in the North Sea, meet the original Saint Nicholas that we call Sinterklaas, go ice skating like the Dutchmen of the past, navigate through the typical Dutch canals🏰🌊 etcetera. And of course, because we’re going all Dutch, we will do everything by bike! 🚲🚲🚲
