Are you ready for the biggest costume party of your life?
Every winter, Tilburg becomes Kruikenstad and the entire town comes together to celebrate the Dutch 'Carnaval' and now we invite all of you to join us!
During Carnaval, normal daily life in the south of the Netherlands comes to a near stop as people come together to dance, sing and drink together day and night. Stores are closing and roads are blocked. Normal societal roles are reversed and Prince Carnaval is taking over town.
Since societal roles are reversed you can be anyone you want: a firefighter, ballet dancer, banana, king or Superman! 🎉
During this five day event, we will teach you all you need to know about this traditional Dutch celebration; you’ll be hosted in the city center where we will dress up, watch the big carnaval parade, learn you all about the history and traditions, have a city tour, traditional pub crawl with locals and most importantly, where we can party all day and night!
