Two years later, in 1989, the people of Eastern Germany were ready to risk everything to tear down the Berlin Wall and to see their country reunited again. Soon after, with the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War, the Iron Curtain fell completely. Once more, Europe was whole again.
In this NWM, we want to encourage YOU to tear down YOUR walls: Challenge your routines, open yourself to new experiences and expand your knowledge. Celebrate with us the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall in Heidelberg, one of Germany’s most ancient and beautiful cities.
So what does our NWM offer you?

🗺️ Thematic: Connectedness of Eastern and Western Europe, European identity and European networks in sub-national levels

Why should you go to exactly this NWM?
This NWM is especially focused on making connections among participants and creating real and implementable projects and events that can be executed in cooperation with other locals. We want to create bonds for longer than just one prolonged weekend and we believe that you will go home thrilled to put your new ideas into action.
As an extra, this NWM will have a small follow up training event on Sunday afternoon. So don't miss your change and get trained by AEGEE-Academy trainers.
⚠ Attention: This training will not be part of the NWM and is provided on a voluntary basis by the trainers! It will take place on Sunday afternoon right after the closing ceremony of the NWM, so if you want to attend please keep that in mind when planning your departure.
