Here you have a sad fact 👉 traditionally if girls try to lead when they are little, they are told they are being bossy and that they should be quite nice girls.
On the contrary, other people are taught to raise their voice over the others and just because they are boys, for example, they are being told that should be in charge.
This is absolutely discouraging for girls and affects their leadership skills when they grow older. But thankfully, things have started to change 👏 and we investing more and more resources and knowledge in having more women leaders, although there is still a lot to do. There are still many barriers for women to access powerful positions, but everyday women fight for this possibility.

🙌 This event is organised as part of the 8th of March Campaign of the Social Equity Working Group of AEGEE-Europe, aimed to raise awareness about important matters related to women and the challenges they are facing. The campaign includes a series of events that will take place online and are open to everyone interested in the topic!
