This extraordinarily moving documentary tells the story of Holocaust survivor, Henia Bryer, in her own words. Born into a middle-class Jewish family, Henia lost her father, brother, and sister during the German occupation. Henia recounts these events with incredible poise and clarity for details. She shares her story so that younger generations can understand a moment in history when unchecked power and prejudice led to the slaughter of millions.
We are planning to watch the movie together and afterwards to have a short discussion about it.
