On this day we celebrate the 35th Birthday of theSchengen Agreement. AEGEE-Kaiserslautern-Saarbrücken [ https://www.facebook.com/AEGEEKLSB/?eid=ARBUESKKMgYZstrUmyg4qg6W0yewhIcrYhEuPR4LBL15xNgWH0Hlep7OZVzFFRfG-113paIYdiosxw6U ] organises an onlinesession to recognise the importance of this milestone and its contribution toEuropean integration is essential.
There will be speakers such as: Christina Kneip (the head of the Schengen Information Center), Catherine Lalumière, (President of the Maison de l’Europe in Paris, former MEP andminister), Roland Theis (the State Secretary for European Affairs of Saarland and member of theEuropean Committee of the Region), Christophe Arend (French MP and President of the Franco-German Parliamentary Assembly) and Daniël Amesz (President of AEGEE-Europe).
The onlinesession will be divided into three parts: 1) Introduction 2) why to commit yourself to cross-border cooperation 3) interactive debate
