AEGEE Sheffield would like to invite you to our next online event on Brexit.
Brexit has been overshadowed by the COVID-19 pandemic for the past year, however, the UK has left the EU as of January 1st 2021. This has already had a huge impact on the future of both the UK and the EU. This event will focus on Britain's tumultuous relationship with the EU from its inception in 1973 to the Brexit referendum in 2016.
We will start with a short brainstorming session followed by a summary of the overall situation. We will then be joined by a guest speaker, Dr Bojan Bugaric, a lecturer at the Law department of the University of Sheffield who will give a talk on the history of Britain's relationship with the EU. There will be a QA session and we will finish with a Kahoot Quiz.
