Have you ever noticed the lack of female names when talking about artists? 💠Or how they are portrayed in films, literature, painting, sculpture, music, etc.? Even nowadays, people describe women from a sexist perspective and there are many obstacles for the ones who want to live from what they earn as artists.
🔸 What is a Roundtable Discussion?
A Virtual Roundtable is an online session designed to share knowledge, insights and experiences among the participants. Each person present at the event is given equal right to participate, as illustrated by the idea of a circular layout referred to in the term round table.
Join us next Monday and let's discuss about Women and Art, their role in artistic works and much more related to the topic. More details about the platform used and the Agenda will be posted soon in the event!
🙌 This event is organised as part of the 8th of March Campaign of the Social Equity Working Group of AEGEE-Europe, aimed to raise awareness about important matters related to women and the challenges they are facing. The campaign includes a series of events that will take place online and are open to everyone interested in the topic!
